Continuing Education

The surgeons and support staff regularly attend continuing education courses and seminars to learn more about the latest technologies and techniques, enhance their skills, and exchange knowledge with other professionals.

Community Involvement

Our surgeons and staff regularly:

• Present free community education seminars about orthopedic care - a calendar of upcoming community events can be seen here.
• Work with the Appleton Public School District to provide career mentoring for high school students. School officials can contact us to learn more about this program or go to: www.medicalmentors.net.
• Sponsors and presents a variety of training and continuing education events for local healthcare providers, including:
  
  
  • Each of our surgeons is on the faculty of the UW Health Fox Valley Family Practice Residency Program and regularly provides orthopedic training for residents who rotate through our offices.
  • Our surgeons and staff organize an annual conference for primary care providers. We provide education in: common orthopedic problems, more cost effective orthopedic evaluations and treatment to assist them with their patient diagnoses
  • We host an annual conference for Occupational Health Nurses to present educational topics and discuss current issues in care under the worker's compensation system.
