Home Road To Recovery

After Your Surgery
You will remain in your recovery room under observation by a registered nurse. As soon as you’re ready, we’ll bring in your family member or those who accompanied you.

Our Recovery Suite
Comfortable and relaxing, our Recovery Suite is available for Extended-Stay patients (up to 23 hours).

Designed with your comfort in mind, our Recovery Suite is equipped with a large, home-like bed; a flat-panel TV; an iPod with your personalized music selection; a laptop computer with wireless Internet access; and your choice of reading materials.

There are also various games, puzzles, and activity books for you and your family to enjoy. We’ll be happy to provide whatever else you need to make your stay more comfortable.

Homeward Bound
When you’re ready to leave the Institute, our nursing staff will provide you and your family or friend with instructions for exercise, medications, and follow-up appointments with your surgeon and your physical therapist.

This is a good time to ask our staff about any issues that concern you.
